You chose a career in the non-profit sector because you wanted to help people. You worked hard and made a difference. Now you’re a manager and you’re facing a brand-new set of responsibilities. You are doing your best, but at times, it’s overwhelming.
Managers need a whole new set of tools to do their job well. We aren’t born with them, and it’s hard to learn them on the job.
Find community in a cohort of your peers for a six-month progression through the fundamentals of management. Gain the essential skills and tools you need to thrive in your job.

Governance Training
For Non-Profit Executive Directors and Board Members
Today’s non-profits are navigating an increasingly complex world. Strong governance at the board level is critical to their success.
Whether board members need help understanding the fundamentals of good governance, building expertise, strengthening partnerships, or planning for the future, ongoing training can help.
Laridae offers a bespoke program tailored to the specific needs of your board. Areas we typically cover include: roles and responsibilities of volunteer board members, the healthy tension between senior leaders and the board, and current best practices in board operations. We will also dig into the issues having the greatest impact on your board’s current effectiveness. You’ll leave with tangible strategies you can use today.
