Hi Everyone,
As someone who works primarily with non-profit and public sector organizations in Ontario’s health and social service sectors, the last few weeks have been remarkable.
The motivations that brought everyone into these sectors in the first place – the desire to work together to help the people around us – are continuing to motivate us as we respond to the new challenges we are facing.
Through my work, I have been able to watch just how quickly everyone is adapting to a new normal. Things that seemed nearly impossible only a couple of weeks ago, like transitioning entire teams to remote work environments, are moving forward with incredible momentum. Regardless of the size of the challenge, everyone is pitching in and pulling together like lives depend on it.
And that’s great. Because lives do depend on it. Ultimately, the organizations Laridae supports are the hinge on which our society swings. You are the essential services. (No pressure!)
For Laridae’s part, we’re doing what we have always done: helping our clients, so that our clients can help the rest of us. We are drawing on our experience in strategy, organizational health, communications, and change management to help senior teams and boards identify, prioritize, and address the short-, medium- and long-term impacts of the current crisis. We are a company that has always functioned remotely, coaching over the phone and conducting virtual training and facilitation, so the imperative of social distancing isn’t slowing us down.
Regardless of how well you are doing so far, I know your head must be spinning. We are here for you.
Our full team is available and ready to help. With so many unknowns, we are offering one-hour coaching calls free of charge. Over the next couple of weeks, as you troubleshoot your way through various new challenges, from engaging your staff, to sharing difficult messages, to business continuity, we want you to know that you aren’t alone.
Get in touch through our contact page, or to a Laridae team member you know well, outlining what you are hoping to discuss, and we will find time to talk at your convenience. If you are new to working with Laridae, we will be sure to connect you with the right person on the team to support you with your questions.
We are ready to listen.
Stay well,
Danielle Rocheleau, CEO
