When Tri-County Community Support Services first reached out to us, they let us know that they were in need of a brand refresh. In the 45 years since the organization was founded, it had grown and evolved. Like a hermit crab who has outgrown her shell, they felt like their existing brand was no longer a good fit. They needed a new brand that authentically reflected their current services, values, and aspirations.
Having recently completed the rebranding process, we are thrilled to share that a new name has been chosen: Canopy Support Services.
This shift is a wonderful nod to their history and growth, as well as reflects the positive work they do now, while ensuring it can support their future direction. It reflects the diversity in their programs and services, the partners they work with, as well as the communities and people they serve. The imagery of a forest canopy supports the idea that they are one part of an ecosystem, adapting to ever changing circumstances while working with others to ensure individualized supports.
This new brand extends beyond the new name and refreshed visual identity. It also includes brand language that will help guide communication throughout the organization.
How We Got Here
In order for a brand to be successful, it needs to be an authentic representation of an organization’s character. It should be both descriptive and aspirational.
In order to help our clients develop a compelling brand, we follow a process that includes research, engagement and self-reflection. This process is fundamentally collaborative, which helps ensure that the brand matches the organization, and that the organization feels the ownership they need to effectively launch and live with the new brand when the process is complete.
The process of working with Canopy Support Services was no different.
Be sure to tune into a complete unveiling on November 16th, 2020.
