Explore the legal issues that arise when faced with mental health concerns from workers and legal considerations related to hybrid work.
The pandemic took its toll on the mental health of Canadians; however, one of the positive outcomes arising from the pandemic is that more workplaces are embracing flexible work arrangements that can support the mental health of workers, while also increasing (in many instances) worker efficiency and productivity.
This presentation will cover the legal issues that arise when faced with mental health concerns from workers and also address legal considerations related to hybrid work arrangements, including the risks associated with modifying work schedules/location, security & privacy, performance management, and disconnecting from work.
